I speak brazilian portuguese. This app is excellent. I learn english and study academic webpages.

Do not count on effective help

Tried it. It is very god but stops after reading a few sentences only. Too bad .

Remove the "copy/translate" menu and make the traslation word appear in less then a second after a word is highlithed And there Are SEVERALS bugs with document space. Make the work space customizable so at least we wont have to scroll right-left every line of text. More customization is apprecciable Like full screen mode Make a better icon too...

Good for free price

I know its not the typical use for this app but it still pretty much saved me when I got my tonsils removed. It hurt so badly to talk and my mom doesnt understand sign language so I would be able to type everything in and use it as my own voice box. Helped me out a lot.

I was an early user of this product and have seen it evolve into a truly great App. It allows both keyed in text to be read and or translated as well as web pages being read and/or translated. The keyed in text can be saved as favorites to be reused again. It even allows editing and merging a number of saved text messages into a single page. The user interface is easy to use and full featured. I highly recommend this product.

Incredible read aloud from touched words to end functions. Reading performance is highly improved now.

Bad app. It is not the icloud

Speak & read Yes it really does crash EVERY TIME after just a few sentences. A lot of times after just a few words. It would be a great app if they ever fix this. Ive had the app for about 4 months and nothing has changed. I wouldnt even waste my time downloading it but if you want to see for yourself go for it. Just dont say I didnt warn you. Rich

This app only reads a few sentences and doesnt continue reading while switching to other apps.

Freezes repeatedly when it tries to read web pages. I had already paid the $19.99 for the full upgrade and so I tried to download the upgrade again twice to solve the problem - but no help. Then I found that SpeakText charged me 2 more times for additional charges of $42.48. Stay away from this highway-robbing junk program!!!!

I bought this app to read some words documents. But it crashes all the time despite upgrading to the full version. Very frustrating! I hope I dont get charged twice as other ppl said. Wish I had read the comments before purchase

This app works on occasion, but I recently found out if you place too much text in the box, the app will crash. Therefore, I dont believe its ready for prime time and giving it two stars.

Cannot pronounce Ive, isnt etc. free version reads only few sentences. Have an option to read docs in other application but didnt open the docs. Useless. Deleted.

I tried Speak for Me and Speak it to me and and they both wouldnt work. This one did. I am using an iPhone 4S with iOS 6.1.
